Phone Flipper is an android application that utilizes modern devices in-built IMUs to facilitate a fun game challenging the users coordination and reflexes. The game features an integrated calibration, facilitating reliable detection of free fall and accurate interpretation of the phones orientation during highly dynamic motions. The calibration accurately estimates the device’s center of gravity, moments, and IMU ranges, allowing a wide variety of devices to be supported without any prior testing or hardcoding of parameters. Although the app was designed to be cross platform in Unity and works well on Apple devices, it has been determined to violate Apple TOS and so is not currently available on the Apple store.
